Cliff is a male puppy from Mocha and Pirate's Feb. 2014 Litter.

Hi Sarah,

Cliff passed!!!!! He did get his Junior Hunter Title :) Unfortunately I had a work event so our trainer ended up running him on Saturday for his title run. She said he did great and held the birds with no issues.

We are super proud of him. He is a very smart boy. He is such a good listener and such a sweetheart.

Wally is a male puppy from Lillie and Abe's Nov. 2014 Litter.

Hi Sarah,

Hope all is well. Just wanted to provide an update on Wally and send some pics.

Wally had his first real hunt yesterday and I couldn’t be happier with how he performed. At only 10 months old he looked like he’s been hunting forever. Watching him in action literally brought a tear to my eye on how proud I was of him.

Not a day at the dog park goes by without us getting a compliment on how beautiful our dog is. Wally is the perfect mix of a wonderful loyal family dog and a total badass in the field. You truly raise some unbelievable dogs and we are lucky to have found you as a breeder.

Thanks again,

Brian & Sandra

Xtreme Airdog

Have to back up a little before I get into the most recent news....

August 8 saw the Canadian Xtreme Airdog Finals come to Edson. My little Rimmers rocked the dock! Rim jumped well all weekend finding ourselves jumping to the 6.4ft height in Vertical. Speed retrieve we lost our Alberta record to a black lab and came in second with another great time of 15.9 sec. Big Air we were able to make the finals in Pro division where she jumped 26.3 in to tie the Canadian record! She went on further in the finals to jump another 25.4 in jump coming in 2nd. Cannot believe this little pup at 18 mth old.

Now for this past weekends new...We were down at the World Xtreme Airdog Finals in Salem, Oregon where we competed Thursday to Monday. In the round we came up with a 24.8 ft jump to make the round finals on Sunday where we placed 4th. Saturday found us in Vertical where we placed a disappointing 13th. The event started really late and as darkness fell, Rim was not confident to even jump for the 6.4ft bumper which was hard to see for many dogs.

Sunday was also Retrieve which was the event I was looking most forward to. Rim and I have been training since Canadian finals to get faster and get the running start perfected. Rim NAILED IT!! With a perfect release and a huge swim for her we shaved off 0.9 sec from her time to get a World record of 15.05 sec. The Americans were stunned! Despite our efforts another competitor also tried a running start and with a big male jumped big and swam hard to beat our time. Second is still impressive and I apparently started a new trend.

Air Finals on Monday saw a tired Rimaroo. We managed to make the finals with a 23.1ft jump but ended up in 9th overall. Still not bad for a puppy. Next year we will be going for the XPro division which is dogs that jump over 25 ft.

Rim is always willing to work and this dog is a hell of a lot of fun. Got a lot of comments on her build and her beauty. Small package but big power. Diving is over for the summer and now it is time to make her an agility dog and flyball dog.

Rim the diving dog!

Rim is a female puppy from Lillie and Abe's Feb. 2014 Litter.

Rim and I went to our first diving competition and despite rain warnings and me being on call we managed to get some dives in.

(FYI In Vertical Semi Pro is 5 to 5 ft 9 in, Pro is 5 ft 10 in and over. In Air Semi Pro is 15 to 20 ft and Pro is 20 to 25 ft and X Pro is over 25 ft. In Retrieve Pro is under 19 sec)

Rim ended the weekend jumping in the Xtreme Air (long distance dives) finals in the Pro division and jumped a big 20 ft 8 in jump. This was the best of the weekend for her. We also competed in the Xtreme vertical (high jump) starting with a 4 ft jump as this was our first time...and jumped our way to 6 ft 4 in successfully. This placed us in 3rd in the Pro division.

As I hoped I would have, I also have an Xtreme Retieve dog! Rim obtained first in the Pro division and made a PAC record with a 15.4 second retrieve! Am so proud of her and cannot wait to see where we go as we are just getting started.

AWESOME JOB RIM AND TAYLOR!! Keep up the fantastic work, we are so so so proud of you guys :)
